Hey guys, its my first post for 2009. and somehow I managed to enter this before February. I really haven't had the time to blog from the big anxiety of my wedding day. Alhamdulillah, I am officially married to the love of my life, Suliza a.k.a Choul a.k.a Soul a.k.a Panda on the 10th of January 2009. The Akad Nikah ceremony went well for me, since I had only a bit of sweat on my right cheek. That's a HUGE difference from what I expected, since I sweat buckets. I was expecting a thunderstorm but for the actual Akad Nikah it went well.
How many lafaz? 2. Oh well, apparently I started the lafaz too late after the shake of the Kadi's hand. It was loud and clear the first time. So by the 2nd time, I put on my game face and managed to complete the process of upgrading Soul from Fiancee to Wife status (love you muah muah). We had a tea ceremony later, a familiar tradition for the Chinese, and since my wife is of mixed parentage, I had the opportunity to experience most Malays won't, and I was nervous as heck, but that's all right since her family made me feel right at home.
I can't blog too much now since I'm running out of time. All in all, I thank god for realising my dream of marrying Choul. And of course, I thank all of the people who supported us and made it happen. It was truly a special day for me and now its a new chapter of my life that I'll go through with my dear wife.
